LAHORE, March 12: President of the Pakistan Judo Association Mahmood Naveed has announced a comprehensive programme of activities, starting from March 17 with a camp for coaches/referees and judges, and ending in December with a belt examination and coaching camp.

Mahmood said after holding the camp on March 17 and 18, Punjab Judo Championships will be held in Lahore on March 30 and 31. A coaching camp will be staged in Faisalabad on April 20 and 21.

Rawalpindi will host Punjab women’s championships on May 11 and 12. A belt examination and referees course will be organised in June and a similar coaching camp will be held in Multan in August while a training camp for coaches in Sialkot is scheduled to be arranged in September.

The inter-provincial judo championships will also be held in November, Mahmood added.—Sports Reporter
