SIALKOT, Dec 3: National Assembly speaker Chaudhry Amir Husain has said the prolonged problems of Sialkot district will be solved on priority basis.

He was talking to different delegations of local body representatives, traders, industrialists and politicians at his Sialkot residence late on Monday night.

He said that work on a bridge over River Tavi in Bajwat, provision of Sui gas facility to the suburban areas, dual carriage way on Sialkot-Sambrial-Wazirabad Road and establishment of Sialkot tanneries zone would soon start.

Chaudhry Amir Husain said that the government would soon announce a package for industrial sector, besides taking measures to create business-friendly atmosphere in the country through the promotion of the small industries and encouraging the Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs).
