CHITRAL, March 27: The bodies of two brothers, who had been missing for the last one month, were found buried in the backyard of their house in Broze village of Chitral.

An official told Dawn on Tuesday during the course of investigation into the disappearance of Mahboob Khan and his brother Malook Khan, the police questioned their elder brother Sartaj Ahmed but he did not give any satisfactory response which made the police suspicious.

The official said during a search the police found blood stained clothes concealed in parts of the house. He said the accused later admitted that he had shot dead his brothers and chopped the bodies before burying them in the backyard of the house. The bodies were exhumed from the place along with an automatic gun and an axe and the accused was arrested.—Correspondent
