KARACHI: Pakistan’s Hunain Aamir also met his fate in the 13th Asian under-21 snooker championship in the Indian city of Goa when he went down 3-4 fighting to Iran’s Mohammad Lababi in the pre quarter-finals on Friday evening.

Hunain was trailing by three frames from where he drew level 3-all before losing the seventh and decisive frame. The Iranian cueist won the battle 60-26, 75-41, 62-37, 33-62, 43-62, 15-86, 88-0.

Hunain’s compatriot Mohammad Majid Ali had met his exit suffering 3-4 defeat at the hands of Indian Laxman Rawat earlier in the day.—Sports Correspondent
