LAHORE, May 2: Pakistan Boards, Punjab Whites and Railways notched up victories in the second PHF U-21 Girls Hockey Championship at the National Hockey Stadium here on Wednesday.

Pakistan Boards recorded a 2-1 win against Balochistan, Punjab Whites downed Sindh 1-0 while the Railways overpowered Wapda 2-1.

Pakistan Boards, downed Balochistan 2-1. Hina Mehta and Shamsa Javed scored for the winners. Fatima Nazar scored the lone goal for Balochistan.

In the second match, Punjab Whites scored the all-important goal against Sindh in the first half when Afshan Noreen scored on penalty-corner.

In the third match, Railways seemed contended with their 2-0 lead against Wapda in the first half. Wapda scored their only goal in the second half.—APP
