KARACHI: Pakistan's Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi and his Dutch partner Jean-Julien Rojer defeated Juilan Knowle and David Marrero to win the doubles final of the Estoril Open.

Qureshi and Rojer beat the Aussie-Spanish pair 7-5, 7-5.

Previously, the Pakistani-Dutch pair had defeated the French duo of Richard Gasquet and Roger Vasseln 6-3, 6-1 in the semi-final while fourth seeds Knowle and Marrero beat Mikhail Elgin and Denis Istomin 7-6 (4) 5-7, 10-6 to reach the final.

Qureshi’s ranking, which dropped to 14th in the beginning of the year, needs to improve in order for him to be able to play at the 2012 London Olympics.
