Badminton camp from Dec 15

LAHORE, Dec 10: Sixteen probables comprising 10 men and six women will attend the badminton training camp, starting Dec 15, in preparation for the ninth SAF Games at Islamabad starting from Dec 15.

The Games are scheduled to be held at Islamabad from March 29 to April 7.

Top seed Wajid Ali (Wapda), along with Waqas Ahmad, Umar Zeeshan, Rizwan Rana, Imran Mohib (New Khan), Asadullah, Tariq Mahmood (KPT), Ashraf Masih (PTCL), Ali Yar Baig (ABL) and Zafar Tasneem are included in the list of men.

In the ladies section, Asma Butt, Uzma Butt, Mahira Abbasi (Wapda), Ayesha Ikram (NBP), Shamim Akhtar (PIA) and Farzana (Punjab) have been called for the camp.

The all probables are to report to the camp-commandant Khurshid on Dec 14.
