LAHORE: A clash between two student wings at Punjab University has left one student dead and another injured.

The clash took place at a canteen at hostel number 14 at Punjab University after a fight broke out. The incident then escalated into gunfire exchange between the two sides.

The shooting left two students injured who were later rushed to the hospital. One of the students, Owais Aqeel, later succumbed to his injuries.

Meanwhile students have come out in protest over the killing.
