KARACHI, May 14: A four-member Kyokushindo karate team will be leaving for Dusseldorf, Germany, on May 17 to feature in the first Kyokushindo Karate World Cup to be held there from May 18 to 22.

The team is being led by Sensei Khalil-ur-Rehman, who is also the Pakistan branch chief and vice-president of the Middle East Kyokushindo Karate Organisation. Other team members comprise middleweight national champion Hasnain Ashraf (black belt 1st Dan), heavyweight national champion Anwar Zaib Khan (black belt 2nd Dan) and lightweight national champion Mohammad Asif Ashraf (black belt 1st Dan).
