NAWABSHAH, May 19: Nawabshah and adjoining areas were hit by wind storm followed by rain on Saturday.

Power supply disrupted with the first drop of rain. A number of sign boards and trees were uprooted on different roads and a number of motorcycle slipping incidents were also reported.

However, weather turned pleasant after rain and people took a sigh of relief. Power could not be restored till late Saturday evening.

Our Dadu correspondent adds: Dadu and its surrounding areas received dust storm and rain on Saturday, causing disruption of power supply.

Electricity poles and trees were uprooted at different places. Due to heavy rain, drainage system of Dadu city collapsed and water started flowing on streets and roads.
