SWABI, May 19: Two bullet-riddled bodies stuffed in bags were recovered in the jurisdiction of the Yar Hussain police station here on Saturday.

The bodies were recovered in Babu Mera area of Yar Hussain. Police were informed of the bodies stuffed in flour bags by the locals.

The bodies were taken to the Yar Hussain hospital for postmortem.

A policeman told this correspondent that it was not immediately known which region the victims belonged to and what was the cause of their killing.

He said it seemed that the attackers had opened fire over them from a close range.

“One of the victims was about 37 years old and the other was about 30 years old,” the policeman said. “The bodies have been placed in the Yar Hussain hospital for identification and if no one comes forward then we have to bury them in heirless graveyard.”

Meanwhile, in Ulta area, 21-year-old Fareed Gul of the Gadoon belt committed suicide after consuming poisonous tablets.

Police said the boy was not getting on well with his parents over some domestic issue.

He was rushed to the Ghani Chathra civil hospital where doctors pronounced him dead.
