DADU, June 4: The city experienced the hottest day of the season on Monday when mercury scaled up to 49 degree Celsius.
Two people died of heat-stroke and six fell unconscious.
Shamsuddin of Mian Mohammad Saleh Pirzado village and Adam Mallah of Pejaho village, both 55-year-old, succumbed to heat.
The city wore deserted look as bazaars and main shopping centres remained closed.
