LARKANA, June 14: Girls have outshined boys in examination of the Secondary School Certificate Part-II annual examination (General Group) conducted by the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE), Larkana, according to results announced on Thursday.
No boy could manage to clinch A-1 grade while three girls secured A-1.
The combined pass percentage was 74.34 per cent. The BISE Larkana took lead among all educational boards of the province in announcing result of SSC Part-II examination, said a press release.
A total of 2,604 candidates took examination and only 1,936 were declared pass whereas result of 153 candidates was withheld on charges of using unfair means.
Among girls, Saeeda Bano Tunio with 723 marks stood first, Najma Shaikh secured second with 685 marks and Rizwana Kousar clinched third with 677 marks.
Among boys, Sajjad Ali stood first with 654 marks, Raja Khan Burdi secured second with 653 marks and Mahboob Ali Leghari made it to third place with 638 marks.
