DADU: Taluka Nazim resigns

DADU, Dec 13: The Taluka Nazim, Mehar, Ahsan Ali Jatoi, resigned from his post citing personal reasons, it was learnt on Friday.

The Taluka Nazim, who is the younger brother of the federal minister for industries and production, Liaquat Ali Jatoi, has sent his resignation to the district Nazim and the DCO here on Friday.

Ahsan Jatoi is likely to contest by-elections on PS-76 on the PML (Q) ticket.

BOYCOTT: The Nazims, Naib Nazims, and councillors of four union councils of Dadu town boycotted the session of the Taluka Council Dadu and held a demonstration outside the press club on Thursday in protest against the Taluka Nazim, Dadu, Syed Zafar Ali Shah.
