Dr. Arbab Alamgir Khan is the Minister of Communication

Born July 1, 1961 in Peshawar, Khan earned his MBBS from Khyber Medical College Peshawar in 1987 and went on to earn a diploma in Internal Medicine from the University of Edinburgh UK.

Khan belongs to a well known family of the NWFP "The Arbab family of Tehkal Bala, Peshawar" and is the son of the late Arbab Muhammad Jehangir Khan who served as Chief Minister of NWFP from 1985-99.

He is a member of the Pakistan People's Party and currently serving as the Minister of Communication.
