HYDERABAD, June 25: Fine bowling by Mohammad Usama and Mohsin Khan helped Hyderabad dismiss Thatta for 118 on the opening day of two-day PCB regional Inter-district Under-19 match at the Niaz Stadium on Monday.

Thatta won the toss and elected to bat first, losing three wickets in quick succession for 24 runs before Adeel Ahmed scored 41 with help five boundaries.

Medium-pacer Mohammad Usama captured 5-24, while leg-spinner Mohsin Khan 4-20.

Openers Mohammad Raheel and Mohammad Khalid the shared an opening partnership of 113 that eventually guided Hyderabad to 193-2 at stumps.

Raheel struck 65 that included four boundaries, while Khalid remained unbeaten with 74.—Staff Correspondent
