HYDERABAD, July 2: Hyderabad annihilated Badin by an innings and 299 runs in the PCB Regional Inter-district Under-19 cricket tournament match at the Niaz Stadium on Monday.

Badin, who folded up for 44 in their first innings, capitulated for just 29 in their second knock with off-spinner Shahbaz Ahmed claiming three wickets for one run to follow his six-wicket haul in the first innings.

Mohammad Usama was Hyderabad’s chief wicket-taker with four for 17, while Babar Khan took 2-10.

This was Hyderabad’s third straight victory in the competition.—Staff Correspondent
