PESHAWAR, July 5: Khyber Agency and Peshawar won their matches and advanced to final round of the SP Kalam Khan Memorial Inter Academy Football Tournament being played at the Qayyum Sports Complex, on Thursday.

The match between Nowshera and Swat ended in a draw. Both teams failed to score despite nice moves by forwards.

Earlier, Swat was defeated by Khyber Agency 3-1 in a thrill-filled event watched by students and other spectators. In third clash of the day, Peshawar outclassed Dera Ismail Khan 1-0 and booked berth at the semi-finals of the tournament organised by Malik Saad Sports Trust to pay homage to SP Kalam Khan who was killed in a suicide attack a few months ago in Peshawar.—Bureau Report
