PESHAWAR: A blast occurred near the bus stand on Peshawar’s Kohat Road on Friday, however no causalities were  reported.

According to police, an unknown assailant threw a hand grenade near the bus stand and fled the scene.

SHO Granullah Khan said two suspects were arrested from the area in connection with the blast and their interrogation was underway.

Khan said a search operation has been initiated in the area.
