LAHORE, July 19: The Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) has announced a donation of Rs5 million for Shalimar Hospital for the welfare of patients.

According to a press release issued on Thursday, a LCCI delegation including its President Irfan Qaiser Sheikh, Senior Vice-President Kashif Younas Mehar and Vice-President Ms Saeeda Nazar visited the Shalimar Hospital.

The delegation also took a round of various departments of the health facility along with Shalimar Hospital’s Board of Management Chairman Brig Anis Ahmad (retired), Medical Director Dr. Waqar Saleem Farooqi and Manager Administration Madam Mahnoor.

Hospital General Manager (Marketing) Usman Suleman briefed the delegation about the projects initiated by the private health facility for patients care.

Later at a ceremony, the LCCI president announced the donation saying that the chamber would also invite other philanthropists to generously donate for the patients visiting the Shalimar Hospital.
