PAKHTUN WOMEN: MPA Dr Yasmeen Jasim, district president of the women wing of Awami national Party, has said as the women in the Pakhtun society always usually remain indoors they are the worst victims of prolonged power outages.
Presiding over a meeting at her residence on Tuesday she said the males could go to the canals and other points to cool themselves off but the Pakhtun women could not enjoy such luxuries. She maintained, “The women were also troubled as they had to prepare food without electricity.”
Replying a question she said the power outages were a well calculated conspiracy against her party because the districts where the ANP had strong vote bank faced massive loadshedding.
