DADU, Dec 20: Dadu district Nazim Malik Asad Sikandar has said that a committee has been set up to investigate the alleged embezzlement in the School Management Committees funds of different schools of the district.

He was talking at a meeting of the officers of different government departments and Nazimeen of union councils at his office here on Friday.

He said that the inquiry committee was headed by the DCO, Dadu, and it would submit its report in a week.

He also directed the DCO to complete the inquiry regarding alleged embezzlement in the public health department, Sehwan sub- division, in 15 days.

The district Nazim directed the district police officer, Dadu, to control law and order situation in the district, specially in Mehar and Khairpur Nathan Shah talukas.

He said that more police personnel should be deployed along the Indus Highway from Kotri to Mehar and on the Super Highway from Nooriabad to Kotri.

Mr Sikandar said that development schemes would be initiated in every UC of the district and the UC Nazimeen should immediately submit proposals of development schemes to the EDO, works.
