Pakistan captain Sohail Abbas scored a last minute penalty corner goal but that did little to mask Britain's dominance and improved effectiveness throughout the Pool A match on Friday. The hosts were almost unrecognizable from the team which was held to a disappointing 2-2 draw by South Africa two days ago and handed Pakistan a 4-1 loss, courtesy goals from James Tindal, Jonty Clarke and two PC conversions from Ashley Jackson. The result opened up the pool and means the Greenshirts will have to win both of their last two games against South African and Australia to harbor any hopes of advancing.

You can say any thing but do not blame Pakistan for complacency. I watched the match. Our boys kept on trying. Let us hope they do better against S.Africa & Australia.

It's heartbreaking to see the painful demise of Asian Hockey Giants namely Pakistan and India.. I was cheering for both of them in the hope that I may see the glorious days of Indo-Pak Hockey Glory days again.
It's sad how Pakistan and India are spending Billions of Dollars on defense budgets but don't even spend a couple of hundred million dollars on any sport other than cricket. Winning silver medal is shooting is great news for India, but even that is the privilege reserved for personnel of Armed Forces.
When will the common men of India or Pakistan get the opportunity to stand on the Olympic Podium Proudly representing their nations?

I agree with this. Our common man is also given priority to politics, Cinema , cricket and Education. In west walking and exercise are part of their life.
Our people have to change their mentality than only we can stand on Podiums.
