ISLAMABAD: A Mirage fighter aircraft of the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) crashed near Thal in Punjab during a routine operational training mission.

The PAF spokesman said here on Wednesday that the pilot of the aircraft had ejected safely.

Furthermore, he said that there were no reports of any loss of civilian life or property on ground.

Subsequently, a board of inquiry was ordered by Air Headquarters, he added.
