THATTA: Four die in accident

THATTA, Dec 22: Four men were killed and another was injured when a recklessly-driven bus collided head-on with a rickshaw at the Makli incline here on Sunday.

The witnesses said the Daro-bound bus (P-0008) went out of control of its driver while overtaking a Thatta-bound local bus and collided with the rickshaw (D-09172), smashing it into pieces.

As a result Mumtaz Soomro, an activist of the Sindh Taraqqi Pasand Party, his relative Manzoor Soomro, rickshaw driver Krishan Maheshwari and Rasool Bux were injured. The first three died at the Makli Civil Hospital and the fourth injured died on his way to a Karachi hospital.
