MIRAMSHAH, Sept 22: A US drone fired two missiles at a suspected militant vehicle in Datakhel area of North Waziristan on Saturday, killing three people and injuring two others.

Local people said the vehicle was targeted near Landay Momadkhel village, some 35km from Miramshah, the headquarters of North Waziristan.

People rushed to the vehicle and retrieved three charred bodies from the vehicle.

Agencies add: “We have reports that two militants of the Gul Bahadur group were injured in the attack,” security officials said.

They said the vehicle was engulfed in flames after the attack and militants cordoned off the area, not allowing anybody to go closer, while they removed the bodies.
