Four kidnapped in Kohat

KOHAT, Dec 29: Four people were kidnapped by seven armed men from Ustarzai town and whisked away to unknown place in the Orakzai Agency on Sunday.

The police recovered the abandoned car bearing number LHY-868 in which the victims were travelling from Kurram Agency to Kohat from an abandoned place in Chakarkot. The police also recovered two mobile sets from the said vehicle.

The victims were identified as Tajuddin, Mian Mir, residents of Darra Adam Khel, Daud and Akbar residents of KDA Township, Kohat.

The Ustarzai police have registered a case on the complaint of the uncle of one of the victims against Zahir, Anwar, Mir Salam, Juma Din, Sharab Din residents of Teri Mengal in Kurram Agency, Sabaray and Khan Mohammad residents of Peshawar and initiated investigations.

TWO KILLED: Two brother were killed by unidentified gunmen in Bilitang town here on Sunday.

The deceased were identified as Amjad Ali and Mohammad Ishraq, sons of Muqarrab Khan.

The police have charged Dildar and Israr, sons of Sardar, Abdullah and Sabir, son of Musharraf as guilty and started investigations.
