PESHAWAR: At least two people were killed and seven others injured Thursday in a roadside bomb blast in the Feroz Khel area of the Lower Orakzai Agency, DawnNews reported.
According to Noman Ali Shah, the political sub-collector of the area, the bomb was detonated using a remote-controlled device. Shah said that the target of the attack was tribal leader Malik Mohammad Shareef who was severely injured in the blast.
Two passers-by were killed while seven, including the tribal leader, were injured. The injured were transported to a Kalaya Headquarter Hospital, from where they were later shifted to KDA Hospital in Kohat.
Three of the wounded were said to be in critical condition.
