KARACHI: A local court in Karachi on Wednesday ordered the confiscation of the properties of banned People’s Aman Committee leader Uzair Baloch and of two of his associates, DawnNews reported.

Hearing a case pertaining to illegal supply of weapons in Karachi's Lyari area, the court issued the order to confiscate the properties of Uzair Baloch, Zafar Baloch and Baba Ladla.

The court also declared Uzair Baloch and Baba Ladla as absconders.

The investigation officer told the court that the charge sheet was presented after three arrested suspects gave their statements indicating that Uzair and his associates were involved in the illicit arms supply.
