KARACHI, Oct 7: The Islamia Club ranking table tennis tournament, which was interrupted due to law and order and ICC World T20 matches, has reached the final stage at the club premises the other day.

The finals in all the categories are slated for Monday.

Results: Men’s singles (ranking): Semi-finals: M. Muzammil bt Atta Abbas 4-1 (10-12, 11-6, 11-8, 11-6, 11-4); Kamran Sarang bt Ahmer Ali 4-3 (14-12, 11-6, 8-11, 10-12, 11-13, 11-8, 11-8).

Men’s singles (open): Semi-finals: Tabish Khursheed bt Usman Ahmed 4-2 (6-11, 11-9, 7-11, 11-6, 11-9, 11-8); Mohsin Raza bt Kamran Sarang 4-1 (11-6, 13-11, 8-11, 11-4, 11-7).

Monday’s fixtures: Girls’ under-18 singles 4pm; boys’ under-18 singles 4.30pm; women’s singles ranking 5.15pm; men’s singles open 6.15pm; men’s singles ranking 7pm.—Sports Correspondent
