KARACHI: Several incidents of firing on Monday claimed 10 lives in Karachi, including those of a policeman, a political party worker, and a man allegedly linked to the city’s territorial ‘gang wars’, DawnNews reported.

Four people were killed when unidentified men opened fire on Karachi’s Abul Hasan Isphahani Road. Shops were closed down soon as tension gripped the area following the incident.

In North Nazimabad, a man was killed in another incident of firing, while a policeman was shot dead in Baldia Town.

An activist belonging to a political party was gunned down by unknown armed assailants in North Karachi Sector 5. Another man was killed in a similar incident of firing by unknown gunmen in Landhi.

Meanwhile, Sattar Brohi, a ‘gang war’ suspect, was killed in a police operation in Dalmia, police said.
