CHITRAL, Oct 30: The information and coordination secretary of PPP, Chitral chapter, Iqbal Hayat has demanded of the prime minister to visit Chitral and announce development package for the district.

In a statement here on Tuesday, he said neither the prime minister nor the president had visited the district during the last four and half years thus harming the party in the forthcoming elections.

He said all major development works in the district were initiated by PPP founder late Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, which included the Lowari tunnel project, Chitral hydropower station and the network of roads in the valley.
