QUETTA, Oct 31: The first Haj flight carrying 328 pilgrims arrived here on Wednesday at 6pm, five hours behind schedule.

Deputy Speaker of Balochistan Assembly Matiullah Agha and PIA officials welcomed the pilgrims who arrived aboard the PIA’s flight PK 3702.

PIA sources said that 13,430 pilgrims belonging to Balochistan would return home by 42 flights and the post-Haj operation would continue for a month.

A large number of people had turned up at the airport to receive their loved ones. An unpleasant situation developed when some people tried to enter the prohibited area.—APP
