KARACHI, Nov 1: The Subh-e-Nau Tennis Series 2012 will be played at the KMC Sports Complex from Nov 10.

Shahida Farooq, the chairperson of Subh-e-Nau, said in a statement on Thursday that they had decided to introduce their own tennis circuit in which they would focus on exploring new talent.

She said they would provide young players more chances to groom themselves.

Competitions will be held in men’s singles, men’s doubles, ladies’ singles, boys’ U-18, boys’ U-14 and boys & girls’ U-11 categories.

Shahida added that top five national ranked players of each category, except ladies singles, will not be eligible to participate in the event to encourage new players.

A total of one hundred thousand rupees will be disbursed among the players as prize money.
