Multan beat Rawalpindi

RAWALPINDI, Jan 4: Multan defeated Rawalpindi 3-2 Saturday while Mardan edged past AJK 2-1 as the preliminary round of the 50th Golden Jubilee National Hockey Championship resumed after a day’s rest.

In another match D.I. Khan defeated Quetta 2-1. In Sunday’s semifinals, Rawalpindi will play Mardan with Multan facing off AJK. The two finalists of this round qualify for the finals of the championship.
