All the four quarter-finals turned out to be keenly contested affair with all the teams fighting for each and every point.

Talha Amjad guided district West to a nail-biting 44-43 victory over Central Whites in a neck-and-neck game after enjoying a slender 27-26 lead at half time.

In another interesting match, South Greens, in a late burst, beat Central Greens 51-47 after both teams were tied 21-21 at the breather.

Although Mahad top scored with 17, followed by able support from Idrees with a modest score of 12, it was Bilal who earned a handsome applause with three three-pointers contributing nine points. Abdullah Imam was the key scorer for losers with a tally of 16. He was supported by Adnan Ali (10), Taimur and Tahir (six) and Rehan five.

Earlier, Ali Raza’s 20 points went in vain as district Malir went down fighting 39-40 to South Whites after leading 25-18 at half time. Ahad Javeri and Ali Ahmed scored 16 and 10 respectively for winners.
