The United Arab Emirates (UAE) is situated on the Persian Gulf, bordering Oman, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Iran. Dubai has the largest population in the UAE followed by Abu Dhabi and has the second largest land territory by area of all the emirates after Abu Dhabi.
