ISLAMABAD, Jan 10: The government has deleted the names of 20 sitting parliamentarians from the Exit Control List (ECL), Interior Minister Faisal Saleh Hayat confirmed on Friday.

The government has issued a press release which said that the names of sitting parliamentarians including members of treasury benches and opposition have been excluded from the ECL.

The minister said the interior ministry had deleted the names of some 20 sitting parliamentarians from the ECL. However, he was reluctant to disclose their names.
