FAISALABAD, Jan 12: Unidentified bandits remained busy as they looted cash and valuables worth hundreds of thousands of rupees and hijacked a tractor-trolley and a two-wheeler in eight strikes in the city and its rural areas during the last 24 hours.
Two masked robbers snatched Rs150,000 in cash from Muhammad Hussain, employee of a tobacco company, at pistol point near Raja Chowk of Peoples Colony.
A gang of armed bandits looted thousands of rupees in cash, ornaments and other valuables from the house of Dilawar Khan in Bhaiwala village in the area of Nishatabad police station.
