KARACHI: Spiritual leader of Hur community and head of Pakistan Muslim League Functional (PML-F) Pir Pagara Syed Sibghatullah Shah Rashdi has appointed former prime minister Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali as central vice president and his son Mir Fareedullah Jamali and former governor Punjab Ghulam Mustafa Khar as presidents of party’s Balochistan and Punjab chapters respectively.

Pir Pagara made the announcement at a joint press conference at his residence Raja House in Karachi on Wednesday.

All the three leaders, who had earlier called on the PML-F chief, were present during the press conference.

Meanwhile, Deputy Prime Minister and PML-Q leader Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi discussed political situation especially the matters relating to unification of different factions of Muslim League during a meeting with Pir Pagara which lasted for an hour.

Pir Sibghatullah Rashdi said all political parties were busy rearranging their ranks in view of the upcoming general elections however the PML-F, he said, wants to provide “clean leadership” to the masses.

Speaking on the occasion, Chaudhry Pervez Elahi said there would be a coalition government in the future as no single party could achieve a clear majority in the next elections.

According to him those claiming two third majority were living in a “fools paradise.” Elahi viewed that all the political forces should join hands to steer the country out of crisis.
