ISLAMABAD, Dec 29: The Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) would establish an industrial estate, in collaboration with the Chakwal Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) at Nila Dullah to facilitate growth of industrial activities.
This was stated by ICCI president Zafar Bakhtawari, during a meeting with Maj-Gen (Retd) Yaqoob Khan.
He said a portion of industrial estate in Chakwal would also be allocated for Export Processing Zone (EPZ) which would create job opportunities, bringing in new technology and know-how, and attract foreign investment.
He further added that Deputy Prime Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi has also principally agreed to establish an industrial estate at Chakwal Motorway because of relatively affordable property prices.
Speaking on the occasion, Maj.General Khan assured his support for establishing interchange at Nila Dullah and urged the leaders of all the political parties to provide help for establishing industrial estate at Chakwal Motorway. —APP
