LAHORE: Tehrik-i-Minhajul Quran chief Dr Tahirul Qadri on Sunday said he did not want to become a caretaker prime minister.

Addressing the Tehrik-i-Minhajul Quran workers convention, Tahirul Qadri said, “We will eradicate corruption from politics and no one will be allowed to loot the resources of the country.”

On the occasion, he set up “Islamabad March Fund” and started fund collection from his own house. Later a number of people gave donations to the fund.

He lauded the services of media, which he said, was the fourth pillar of the state and it should play its important role with responsibility.

He said, “I have never used the Tehrik-i-Minhajul Quran fund for personal purposes.”
