PESHAWAR, Jan 17: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Hockey Association on Thursday named an 18-member team for the upcoming fourth National Tray Men Hockey Championship commencing here at the S.M Lala Ayub Hockey Stadium on Friday.

Peshawar District Hockey Association president Hidayat Ullah Khan said a total of 40 players were shortlisted for the month-long camp and among them names of 18 players had been finalised by the selection committee.

Team: Goalkeepers: Walid Khan and Javed Ali

Full-backs: Fazal-i-Hadi, Hazrat Bilal and Zahid Khan.

Half-backs: Qaisar Khan, Yasir, Farman, Majid Khan, Subhan and Haris.

Forwards: Manzoor, Nouman, Asif Islam, Samad, Afsar, Sami Ullah, Qaisar Junior and Naeem Khan.
