KARACHI, Feb 13: The National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) has joined hands with Pakistan Junior Tennis Forum (PJTF) to organise junior tennis events across the country and conduct junior camps to develop and promote the sport.

"It is my endeavour and passion to promote junior tennis in Pakistan," President of Pakistan Junior’s Tennis Forum (PJTF) Arif Anis told reporters at Karachi Gymkhana on Tuesday.

He said in coordination with NBP, a series of events will be conducted in different provincial capitals and in Islamabad.

Arif said Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF) and Sindh Tennis Association (STA) is fully sanctioning the holding of the series of junior events and their training and coaching camps under qualified coaches.

He informed that PJTF which was established a decade ago has already organized five major events here in the city.

PJTF chief said plans of holding the event in March-April are being worked out.—APP
