KARACHI, Feb 18: Pakistan’s Aamir Atlas Khan held off the challenge of compatriot Nasir Iqbal in the final to win the fifth Kish Persian Gulf Squash Cup at the Kish Olympic Sports Centre in Iran.
Teenager Nasir, unseeded at the event, carved open a 2-1 lead by the third game before Aamir stormed back to win the title decider 11-5, 6-11, 7-11, 11-3, 11-8.
The PSA World Tour Challenger 10 title took his overall tally to nine on the PSA Tour.—PPI
