LAHORE, March 2: President Asif Ali Zardari has said the election will be held on time and he will transfer power whosoever gets majority.

Talking to a group of journalists at Bilawal House on Saturday, the president said he would not become “Ishaq Khan”. He said no one could snatch democratic system from us. He said former premier Gilani would lead the PPP campaign in coming elections.

He said the Pak-Iran gas pipe line was not a violation of international rules as Pakistan would benefit from it. — Staff Reporter
