Punish those responsible so this does not happen again.

"More than 3,000 people rampaged through Joseph Colony, a Christian area of Lahore."
This is all about human frustration and anger, not about religion.
It is the leopard against the lion.

I now think the only remedy left for my Christian Brethern is to stay away from all uneducated muslims friends. I agree there are many Muslims who critize this babaric act but unfortunately that is only in the print and electronic media and they are also sympathetic towards us christians, but unfortunately they too are too scared to come out on the roads to show sympity with us christians. As for the government goes, they are only looking for opportunities to deplor their opponents and praise themselves for the many nothings they have done for us Christains. I wonder how many processions have been taken out in our favour.I am sure that more than 90% of the blasphemy complaints (which are untrue) have been made by uneducated muslims and there is no one to look and see how much truth there is in these complains. The police themselves are mostly illitrate so what can be expected of them. My apologies to my muslim brethern who will blast me from all sides, but take a moment, read and then try and realize and see that what I have written is true or not. Most or all of you who will have read this will sympitize with us but how many of you did actually take to the road in our support. I can understand that even if most if all of you agree with me. it is difficult for you to openly come out in our favour because this is a complex situation and you would also suffer the same fate that one of us is unjustly accused of
Thank you

dear mr edwin
first of all my applogy as a muslim for what had taken place.second please stop using word like uneducated muslim ,muslims arent the only one who are uneducated there are millions of people from diffrent religon who are uneducated in this world when we start labling words like this to one group of religon or people things get worse then better.we the people have to educate the ones who need to be educated .its everybody duty to do so.i truly think a person or lets call him a muslim in his right mind would do something like this .if he call him self a muslim then he has to remeber MOHAMMED(peace be upon him) told us muslims to protect the christan community and their churches from any mishaps .so that mean whoever did this is pretending to be a muslim or it could be someone from outside forces who wants to clash these twoo communities and make ISLAM look bad.these both senerio are possible.I Pray top GOD that GOD put some sense in people who are doing this and may GOD protect and help those lost their houses.

Our own prophet did not nor let anyone fight with the lady who threw garbage at him. What kind of a religion are we making up now? defending our religion is not through war. It's through peace and understanding and to stay quiet when you are angry.

Atif
With all due respect to you,you are missing the point here. Edwin was not saying that Muslims are uneducated what he is saying is that the educated ones would not behave in this manner! You yourself just admitted by saying and I quote " We the people have to educate the ones who need to be educated." so even you admit that these are the uneducated people or did I misunderstand. Just so you know Mr Atif I grew up in a Pakistan that cared for their neighbours irresective of their religion. My sisters were able to walk down the streets without having to worry about being harassed by anyone because our neighbours'-muslim neighbours made certain of their safety. Unfortunately you would know nothing about it! My only prayer is that all our Christian brothers and sisters remain safe...one question to you Mr Atif would you go out on the streets in protest of what wrong was done to your christian countryman? I guess you and I both know the answer to that question.
