ISLAMABAD, March 19: The Lal Masjid administration on Tuesday lodged a complaint with the Aabpara police seeking registration of a case against former President Pervez Musharraf, ex-Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz and two of their ministers on the charges of murder and kidnapping during the 2007 operation, police said.

The complaint lodged by a representative of the mosque also named then minister for religious affairs Ejazul Haq and state minister for information Tariq Azeem.

The police took the complaint from the representative but neither gave him any receipt nor entered the complaint in their daily dairy.

The complainant stated that the application was lodged in the light of Supreme Court directives to take action against the responsible persons.  The police said the matter would be brought into the knowledge of the senior officers to seek their directives.
