PESHAWAR: A police official was killed and six others were wounded in a suicide blast in northwestern Pakistan’s Mardan town on Saturday.
The explosion took place in the city's Katlang bazaar and DIG Mardan Jaffar Khan confirmed it was a suicide attack.
The bomber had initially lobbed a hand grenade at police personnel standing outside a police station in the area, sources told Dawn.com, adding that upon being chased by the personnel, the bomber blew himself up. Moreover, the bomber had an accomplice who managed to flee and the police had started a search for him.
Mardan lies around 50 kilometres northeast of Peshawar, which is on the edge of Pakistan’s lawless tribal belt, known as a haunt of Taliban and Al Qaeda linked militants.

Pakistan's all forces are deployed at Indo-Pak border while their real enemies lies on their tribal belt. There are no human being in tribal belt? India is not their threat their real threats are the terrorist those are hidden in tribal belt and Afgan-Pak regions. Otherwise Pak's more than 60% attacks has been occurred on tribal areas and villages than cities.

How come the tribal belt is lawless when there is army, Khasadar (local police) and local political agents administering all seven agencies? perhaps constitutionally.

Mardan does not share any boundaries with lawless tribal region , except for its western boundaries with Malakand agency, a semi tribal or provincially administered tribal area.

As the same wrong information displayed on the down news,here before not same like activity happened here,so how you can say it is a hunt of taliban.before the law and order was fully applicable.
