Taliban sure don't like education, ask Malala Yousafzai. Science and education is poison to religions.

Inna lilallah-e-wa innaalaihe rajoon! I fail to understand why a concerted action by police, rangers and army is not being taken to arrest terrorists roaming around in Karachi. I remember a statement by former interior Minister Mr Rehman Malik just a few days before his departure, that there was no need of grand operation in Karachi. There is very much a crying need for a grand operation in Karachi. Obviously the police is not able to do it single-handedly. It is not enough to lament the loss of precious lives. The state must and should fulfill its constituitional obligation of safeguarding lives and properties of the citizen, it can be done only when all such killers and master minds are arrested and punished without delay. Also there is acute need to check all incoming arms from all points into the city and intelligence has to do a better job of knowing and advising concerned authorities in advance of any such devilsh plots so they are foiled before they can actually take place. I am confident that the caretaker government will rise to the occasion do the job without fear and favor. A job that could not be done in the last five years of previous government.

it is due to our own mistake of not standing against sectarian forces, one by one all the sects starting from the weakest would suffer. it reminds me of saying in which the person says that they came for some one and i did n't bother then they came for the next one and i did not raise my voice and ultimately when they came for me , NO BODY CAME FOR MY HELP.
Our press is also dragging its feet as it is not condemning these acts openly may be due to threats.
But what is happening is called insanity.

This is horrific! What kind of demons are they to attack small kids in their schools! And the irony is that the grenade and the weapons they use, are all developed by people after years of education! If only our education promoted peace as the paramount virtue to be practiced by all!

Your comment is also disgusting. Does it always have to be girls/women rights? Are we so sold this feminist extremism that we can't see that innocent's blood is innocent's blood and has no gender? Why does it matter if it was a girl's or a boy's or a co-ed school. Please get over your obsession of crime against women. Why can't we simply condemn barbarism for what it is really worth?

Disgarceful barbarity - another question needs to be asked is what is a political agent doing leading a school? Chilldren need to be educated by educators not civil servant politicians. Nonetheless hope the murderers are caught and punished - i feel for the children who were killed

Conclusions without investigation! Are we so wired to say "Sectarian Violence", "Taliban Did That" , " Kill This", "Carpet Bomb That" for every such tragedy. Whoever did this deserves to be hanged; whether Taliban, sectarian elements, political forces or even if someone did this for personal enemity. We have tendency to be reactive without even without taking the time to reach the facts.

God isn't going to descend from the clouds. God has given Pakistanis knowledge, physical and intellectual abilities as well as all the weapons they need to protect themselves and destroy the enemy within. The nation is disunited from top to the lowest level. Mullahs have taken over the leadership of the masses. Mullahs do not unite people. They gain prominence by promoting hatred against those who reject their call for disunity. God isn't going to help those who refuse to indulge in a moment of personal analysis (hisaab) and act in the name decency and Islamic morality. Pakistanis must rise up individually and collectively to erase mullahism from the nation's map. Mullahs are attacking every institution that is essential for the survival of Pakistan. Think and act, Don't complain.

I have a strong feeling that once Imran is in power he shall stop his posturing. Having followed him since he was a teenager I think he is going to take take these terrorists head on. The Taliban know this and have already threatened to kill him. But then it is better to die on your feet than live on your knees.

It is not simply barbarism. If we want to end cruelty and ruthlessness in Pakistan, we will have to try to establish a society based on justice, fairplay, honesty and rule of law.

Army can't handle this kind of situation. That's why they don't want to get involved. Government too can't do anything due to political expedience. People - the common people - alone can bring change by electing right people. Give mandate to right people, who are not afraid to fight all kinds of terrorists and then support them. But unfortunately, none among current leaders, and politicians are such 'right people'. So the situation is hopeless. First thing, therefore, is to identify such right people, bring them up, support them, give them mandate, and see them bring better change. If you can't do that, why blame others?

why army? Youngsters form committees and do rounds in local areas to protect your people in your community area. Please agree to form a committee with all young people in your area irrespective of religion and help fight it tooth and nail until your last breathe. No one will come close to you since it is such a powerful group no one including terrorists or anti-social /state forces can intrude into your area. Celebrate your holidays, festivities 2-3 times each month and make your lives happier and peaceful and prosperous. You can do it.
